About Cathy

Cathy MacQueen, a North Carolina native and talented acrylic artist settled in Ocean Isle Beach, NC in 2018 relocating from the Lake Norman area. Transitioning from designing coastal home decor under brand name Seaweed Designs to acrylic canvas paintings, she draws inspiration from her sailing adventures in the Abaco Islands. Her art captures the vibrant marine life and tranquil waters she encountered snorkeling. Known for her whimsical pop art-realism style and textured acrylic masterpieces.

Where can you see her art in the Ocean Isle Beach area? She only sells originals at area galleries/shops or on her website. She does not have a brick-and-mortar store.
